A Comment or Two

We are enjoying the spring weather up here in Alaska. We even plan to have a yard sale in 1 1/2 weeks. The countdown for Summer Vacation is on--17 days! I've been trying to post pictures but for some reason after I make one post I get only a white screen when doing the second post. Not sure what that is about. Maybe once the computer quits being so weird I can get caught up with pictures. The boys still have some school work to do and some of the kids are in the pantry having a candy feast so I'm told. . .

Pinewood Derby 2010

Cameron and Clayton enjoyed designing their cars this year. Clayton was excited to be in his very first Pinewood Derby race! Each of the boys in the pack got to race his car 4 times. Clayton won 3 out of 4. He didn't win a trophy though because they average each boys speed and then use that speed to determine the fastest car. Both boys did a good job and they had fun. Cameron's second grade teacher and Clayton's kindergarten teacher came to watch them race. We also had several friends and Papa and Grandma Hill come. All in all it was a fun evening.

Spring Time in Alaska

Well, spring is here finally! These pictures were taken last month but now we have no snow in the yard. The day these pictures were taken was a beautiful warm day. The kids were really enjoying themselves.
