More Camping Pictures

Cameron and Clayton are helping put up Cameron's "new" tent for the first time. Warren gave him one of our smaller tents that we hardly used. He was so excited! Clayton and he slept in it both nights. I was a little surprised that both boys stayed out there the whole time. I thought maybe they would decide that the camper sounded better. :-) They did great and I think that we just got a little more room in our camp trailer! I am enjoying watching my kids grow and have new experiences but at the same time it's a bit scary. They all are growing so fast that I'm afraid to blink for fear that if I do they'll be all grown up.

Camping Memorial Day Weekend

There is a really nice campground about 6 blocks from our house (on the edge of town). Once you get down in the campground you are surrounded by trees. Warren and the boys camped there one time so we decided to take the family there for Memorial Day weekend. The kids had a lot of fun! Here are some pictures of our first camping trip of the summer.

Cub Scout Pack Meeting

The May Pack Meeting is when we do the "cross over" which is when the boys advance to the next level of scouting. I love the ceremony that our pack does! The Wolves make an archway for the Tigers to walk through to receive their Wolf scarf and book. Then the Bears do that for the Wolves and the Webelos for the Bears. You can see the arch in the second picture. Our boys are getting so big! It honestly seems like just a few months ago we got Cameron his Tiger stuff and now he is starting his first year of Webelos. Clayton is a Wolf. We are so proud of our boys!

GRRR!

OK so I did one post and now it won't let me do another post--on the other computer that is. The problem is our recent pictures are on the other computer. GRRR! This is really getting frustrating! I guess the problem is the other computer. Now I'll have to figure out the photo program on this compter and download the pictures here. I'm trying, folks!

Pictures At Last!

To all of my readers, I apologize for the "vacation" I've taken from the blog. I will be honest--procrastination has been a big part of it. That and the fact that whenever I have tried to post pictures it would not let me do it. Then the other day it wouldn't let me post anything. I don't know what that was all about! Talk about frustrating! GRRR! We've been busy too. SO. . . today I thought I would try to post again and here we are! Yea!! I will try to get caught up on pictures although I don't promise that they will be in any kind of order. These pictures are from our Easter trip to Seward. I really like the picture of the kids lined up looking through the window. The kids had fun playing on the crab boat. We enjoyed our trip to the Alaska SeaLife Center.
