Summer Randomness

So here are some pictures of our summer and the end of Cub Scout season. I didn't post these in exact order (or if I did it was unintentional). :-) We are having a great summer so far. Beautiful sunshiney days with only some rain. Last year we had 42 days straight of rain and cool temperatures. Ugh! This year even the cloudy days are warm. Yes, I am definitely liking summer! I've been trying hard to do more fun things with the kids. I keep reminding myself that the house and all its work will still be here even after the kids are grown and gone. Since I have a
bike trailer now for Ashley to ride in we have been going on bike rides quite a bit. We are looking forward to my sister, Janet, coming next month, our trip to Valdez, and church camp. We want to try to do other things around here with the kids too. Happy summer to you all! May you enjoy it to the fullest!

It's A Tea Party

Warren and the boys (even Nick) went on a float trip
on the Kenai River. Amy was dissappointed that she couldn't go
so Daddy thought she might have a Tea Party while they were gone.
I asked Grandma to paint some ladybugs to give each of the girls.
We used my good dishes. Our pastor's daughter and the little neighbor
girl were Amy's guests. They were all so excited! It was fun!
I love this picture of Amy!

Campfire=Family Fun

Warren built a fire pit in our back yard.
Roasted hot dogs for supper
The fun of a campfire with the comforts of home. :-)
Gotta love that face!!!

Out For a Bike Ride

These pictures were taken a few weeks ago. We rode across town to the library and then to the store for a drink and snack. We stopped in these trees by the old railroad tracks for a picnic. We went for a bike ride to the library again today. This time we packed a picnic lunch and ate in the same place.
