Christmas Day 2011

Here are a few more pictures of our Christmas. We all got cross-country skis this year. We've been able to try them out once or twice but the weather here hasn't cooperated well. Hopefully, this weekend.

Their Advent Calendars. . .
I couldn't find the Advent Calendars that we usually buy. Seems everyone else beat me to it this year. I ended up making them using Hershey Kisses for the candy.

Turkeys

We have snow and more snow and more snow. We have about 2 1/2 feet of snow on our deck. The roads were bad this morning when we went to church so we decided that it would be best to stay home tonight. Cars in the ditch and wrecks all over the place (especially on the way home). So here I sit playing on the computer. I found a couple of pictures from Thanksgiving that I hadn't posted. The turkeys, I mean kids, :-) made these turkeys in school.

So Christmas is over. . .

and a new year is here. It's been good so far. We've been back in school a week now. That's gone well too. Wow! I'm one happy mom/teacher! I will get our holiday pictures posted as soon as I get a chance to down load them. For now I need to get some house work done. As stated in a previous post. I'm trying not to complain since housework means I have a house and a family around me. :-) So the music is cranked and I'm off to fold clothes and clean. Happy New Year Ya'll!!!
