Things Kids Say

Warren and I have been very blessed.  God has sent us 4 (almost 5) wonderful kids some of them in ways we never imagined.  They've made us laugh.  They've made us cry.  They've made us shake our heads.  Yesterday was one of those LOL days!  First of all Clayton's class had a "Lunch with a Loved One" day.  They could invite anyone they wanted to eat lunch with them at school.  Warren had taken the day off because of his birthday so he got to go eat with Clayton.  They were both excited about that but Clayton was floating on Cloud 9.  He woke up yesterday morning and the first thing he says. . .
Clayton:  This is the day!
Me:  What day is that?
Clayton:  It's the "love lunch"!
I guess that was one of those make Mommy smile/cry moments.

Nick and Amy came up with some good ones too.  They were standing at the coffee table. . . Nick:  You stinky!
Amy:  No, I not!  (very emphatically)
Nick:  You stinky!
Amy:  No, I not!  (again very emphatically)
Nick:  You reek!  (read "reeeek")

Later they were sitting sideways in the recliner.  They had all of Amy's little dolls spread on their laps and using the arm rest cover for a blanket.  They looked up at me with the biggest grins and said, "Mommy!  We're twins!"

Yes, life gets crazy at our house but then I think of just how boring our lives would be without our little blessings!
