. . . and this is what we get! Yes, as of 3:25 p.m. this afternoon we are officially on Spring Break but this is what our neck of the woods looks like. Doesn't look too much like Spring to me. It snowed all day yesterday. That was the second snowfall in a week. Ahh! Welcome to Alaska!
Well, at least the kids are on break. I haven't had Spring Break in 15 years back in my college days. :-) This week has been a little crazy. Last Saturday Nick and Amy get sick with the "cold" and Warren and I are up half the night so we stay home from church on Sunday. By Sunday evening Clayton is feeling sick so we don't go to church again. Clayton is better by Tuesday. Ashley has a doctor's appointment and shots on Tuesday. Nick is feeling better by now but Amy continues to get worse. Somewhere in here Ashley developes a cold. Amy spends most of Tuesday and Wednesday and Wednesday night crying. Wednesday she was consistently complaining about her ear so I get her into the doctor on Thursday. She has a major ear infection. Again we don't go to church on Thursday. Ashley's cough gets worse so this afternoon I call the doctor. At this point we just wait it out but if it gets worse (i.e. she wheezes or it's hard to breathe) we take her in to be checked. I thought things were going to let up some and I could get things done around the house but it looks like I'm in for a long weekend. I'll wrap this up now. I don't want to bore you all to tears besides it's late and I'm tired. Good night all!
