It's the end of a long day at the end of a long week. Several weeks to be exact. All of us have or have had colds. Clayton has a second ear infection in a month. Amy has a second ear infection in 2 weeks. Doc says there is a resistive strain of ear infections going around. Well, it looks like we got it. Both kids were checked after taking meds the last time and the infection was gone but then it came sneaking back in. The cold bug seems to have bitten really hard this time around too. It just doesn't seem to want to leave either. Cameron missed 3 days of school this week and Clayton missed 2 days. i think the kids are all on the mend now if only these ear infections will clear up and stay away. Out of the last 3 Sundays (6 services) we've only been to 3 services. And only 1 mid week service during that time. I miss the fellowship. I am hoping we will be able to go tomorrow but it's been snowing all evening so we'll see how the roads are in the morning. It also depends on how much sleep Warren gets since he is on call.
I decided that it was time to get out my scrap books again. I have several projects that need to be finished. Life got crazy and I put scrap booking on the back burner plus I procrastinated printing some needed pictures. I really enjoy scrap booking. It is relaxing and a great stress reliever for me. So anyway, I now have the pictures printed and am in the process of finishing some albums. I am working on our Foster Care album with all the kids we've had in foster care. Next are Nick's and Amy's baby books. I haven't even started Amy's yet and she's 3! Once I get another album I can do Ashley's book too.
I have had Spring Fever like never before! I have been feeling "mixed up", overwhelmed, frustrated, etc. and sometimes not even knowing why. The other day I was talking to a good friend of mine and she's been feeling the same way. We seriously came to the conclusion that it's Spring Fever. For those of you who have never lived up here in the North let me tell you, just because the calendar says it's spring doesn't mean it is spring. If you were to look out my window right now you'd see white stuff coming down out of the sky. And it's not Oobleck--Oobleck is green. Now yesterday if you had looked out my window you would have thought that maybe Spring had indeed sprung until you looked at the thermometer. Beautiful blue skies and bright sunshine but cold! Now don't get me wrong--I love living in Alaska. I love winter. But this year for some reason Spring can't come fast enough!!!
Well, this post has certainly be disjointed. I know I've just been rambling. Must be the Spring Fever. I'll close this down now before I bore you to tears completely. In the words of Molly McGee, "Good night all!"
