Christmas Break and the Christmas Program

WOOHOO!!! Today we are officially on Christmas break from school! Two whole weeks of freedom! :-) Well, o.k., I still have all of my other responsibilities but school is a major, at least time consuming, one. I love to home school but as any of you other HS Moms out there know breaks are wonderful! I managed to get caught up on my Christmas baking this week. Now to get caught up on laundry. Guess that one will always be there. Oh well!

Tonight I'm making homemade pizza for supper. Then later our friends, the Carters, are coming to visit. It's been awhile since we've had them over so it will be nice to visit with them this evening.

This past Sunday morning was our church Christmas program. The kids did a great job! They were so cute! Cameron and Clayton were both shepherds. Cameron was also Ceasar Augustus and Clayton was the Inn Keeper. Clayton also got to play his harmonica with the men. Nicholas was Joseph or as he says "Jophess". Amy was one of the angels. I was rather surprised that she actually went up front. Usually she won't go up. It might of had some thing to do with the fact that her Sunday School teacher bribed the kids with a treat after the program. :-) As soon as Amy was done she says to me, "Where's my treat?" Anyway, the all of the kids did a great job. We were proud of them! We may have a small group of kids but they sure are great!
