Family Update

Well, I thought would take a minute and let you all know what's been going on up north here.  Cameron and Clayton are doing well in school.  They are really liking it so far.  Last week Clayton's teacher went on a hunting trip with her husband and so he had a substitute teacher.  The first two days were OK but by the third day (Mrs. Booth got held up because of bad weather) Clayton was ready to have his regular teacher back.  He ended up at the school nurse's station crying.  He was pretty worked up so the nurse called me and I ended up bringing him home at 10:30 in the morning.  The next day his ear was plugged (he's had a cold) and he was still pretty stressed over the sub teacher so he stayed home--with strict instructions that this would not happen the next time he had a sub teacher.  Monday morning he was very happy to see Mrs. Booth again!  Cameron is ready to get back into Cub Scouts.  He is excited about being a Wolf Cub this year.  Their first Den Mtg. is tonight.  Warren is den leader again this year.  Up here in Alaska most dens don't do much in the summer--too much coming and going I guess.  They do have the camps and ScoutARama in the summer but the den meetings and Pack meetings are during the school year.  Our twins, Nick and Amy, are as full of life as ever.  They can always find something to do or get into!  They are really growing up and it is fun to see the changes.  I am on the countdown with baby.  Only another month and a half!  We are eager to see who this one is!  The older boys got to feel the baby move yesterday.  They thought that was really neat.  The first time Clayton felt the baby move his eyes got really big and he jerked his hand away!  It was funny to watch him!  That's all for now folks!
