Clayton's class (along with a couple of other K classes) went on a field trip at school yesterday. They went to Boyd's Potato Farm where they learned about harvesting potatoes. Then they got to pick their own. Each Kindergarten kid went home with 10# of potatoes. Clayton came home dirty, and I do mean dirty! They had been told to wear old clothes and mud boots. It was a good thing they did. He was so excited about his potatoes! He washed some of them for me and I cooked them for supper. Very good! The other exciting thing for him was that he got to ride a school bus for the first time. Here are a couple of pictures of his harvest.
