I Pledge Allegiance. . .
. . to the flag of the United States of America. . . . As I left the school today after dropping off the boys I saw about 4 students in the office around the intercom and our school kids began saying the Pledge of Allegiance. You could hear it outside and let me tell you I felt a surge of pride. No it wasn't my kids but the sound of school kids saying the pledge just makes me proud--proud to be an American and thankful for our freedom and our way of life. Every day some kids from a different class lead the school in the Pledge over the intercom. I just think that is neat that at least this public school still does that.
