On January 25th we had Nicholas and Ashley publicly dedicated at church. I say "publicly" because we gave these children to God in our hearts long ago. We did not have Nicholas dedicated when he was a baby because we didn't think we would get to adopt him. So with Ashley's birth and his adoption we decided to have a double dedication. We missed my parents who were unable to be with us. The Carter's sang a song written especially for Amy's dedication and looking forward to the day we might adopt and dedicate Nicholas as well.
